Hey everyone.

The other day I came home from work to find my Apple Watch only displaying the Apple logo. Everytime I try and do a force restart it just goes back to showing the logo. It wouldn’t let me erase the content and settings but I was able to unpair it from my phone. But since it’s still stuck on the Apple Logo I cannot repair. Am I completely out of luck and my watch has just hit the dust and died? Or does anyone else have any other suggestions to fix? It’s 2yrs old and not worth what I’d have ti pay to have Apple to fix it if it is indeed dead.

Thank you!

Turns black, then right back to the apple logo. :(

My old series 1 did that - I tried for a few weeks to coax it back to life but it didn't want to cooperate.

Was it on its charger when it did this? I know mine had totally lost charge (after I brought my 6 I'd left this 1 in a drawer all alone so it had totally discharged).

It might be worth keeping it on its charger for a few days - but equally it may have shuffled off to the big Apple in the sky.

So... yeah. Sounds like a boot loop. I'd say to let it discharge for a few days and completely die, then try powering it up. If it still does it, not a lot you can do.

Thank you. The other day it did display the time and the lightening bolt in a circle then I placed it onto the charger and right back to the apple logo.

Same issue with my S3. It was working fine Saturday morning, look down to check the time and boom apple logo? WTH? yea, did the hard reset thing, nope. iPhone can't communicate with it and it's unpaired from bluetooth. I let it discharge Sunday, charged it this morning, still no go. So, I scheduled a Apple store appointment tonight to see if there is anything they can do...if not happy S7 day for me!!

I'll report back the Apple store finding later.
