A couple weeks ago, the hard drive in my MacBook died but fortunately I have AppleCare. My question: Do I have to call AppleCare support to fix this or can i just call my local Genius Bar to schedule an appointment to get it fixed?

Thanks :)

You can just schedule an appointment with the Genius Bar. They'll be able to look up your info and see that you have AppleCare.
