AirPods have been discounted again this week, with Rakuten seller Altatac selling Apple's wireless headphones for $135.99 when using the sitewide discount code SAVE15. Altatac is a highly-rated seller on the retailer's website, and the AirPods are in new condition.

Once you sign into your Rakuten account, head over to Altatac's page for the AirPods, add them to your cart, enter your shipping information, and place the code SAVE15 into the discount code box during the payment stage. AirPods were on sale for $144.99 at Amazon and Adorama last week, so today's sale is about $10 cheaper and the best for a new pair available online.

On Amazon, popular accessory company Anker has launched a big back-to-school sale on a variety of iPhone cases, portable chargers, cables, and more. We've rounded up every item in Anker's sale on Amazon in the list below, and to gain access to the savings enter the discount code ANKERBTS during checkout.

The Anker back-to-school sale will last through Sunday, August 12, and each item has been discounted by 20 percent:

Only issue is, will Apple honor the warranty?

Obviously they won’t if it’s a third-party accessory, but for a product like the AirPods that are discounted, why wouldn’t they? It’s still follows under their guidelines for warranty replacements if it’s a new product.

As long as they are genuine AirPods and they have their unique serial code (which you can register under your Apple ID account), the warranty should definitely be valid, regardless of the purchase price you obtained them at.

Then there's the if you can wait another month or two you'll likely be able to purchase something better angle.

I want some AirPods, what what changes will we likely see at the unveiling of the IPhone? Will they even update them at all? One thing I don’t like about them of the open back design. I prefer to have a full seal so I can get a bassier tone.

This is from the AirPods section of this website's Buyer's Guide section.....

Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo also believes Apple will introduce second-generation AirPods with a "smaller quartz component" in the second half of 2018, perhaps alongside the new 2018 iPhones.

Apple is said working on third-generation AirPods that are set to be released in 2019 with improved water resistance that will allow the AirPods to hold up to "splashes of water and rain." The AirPods aren't likely to be entirely water resistant, however, and won't be able to be submerged in liquid. These third-generation AirPods are also rumored to include noise cancellation features and increase the distance that AirPods can be listened to away from an iPhone or iPad.

I love Anker stuff and was just thinking last night "I need to order some Anker stuff for my new office but it's not on sale. I should wait a day." Is it really a sale if your stuff is on sale most of the time?

I have been no luck with purchasing electronics on auction-like sites as most manufacturers had denied warranty for me with such purchases.
In addition, I swear I saw Costco have them on sale for $139.99 as well.
