Apple's AirPods are seeing a rare and notable discount today at two retailers, with the wireless earphone accessory marked down to $144.99 at both Amazon and Adorama.

Straight discounts on AirPods don't come around very often and these are all-time-low prices for the accessory at both retailers, although they have been slightly cheaper for those using sitewide discount codes at places like eBay. So if you have been waiting for a price drop on AirPods, head over to Amazon or Adorama and place your order soon.

We've also got a new collection of Anker discounts to highlight today:

Hopefully the AirPods discounts are because they're going to release that newer version soon that has the wireless charging case. Hopefully since they announced it a year ago they have upgraded it in other ways too like a newer W2 chip which makes the range even better and helps improve battery life a little bit to maybe 6 hours per charge?

All those Disney films have been available for much cheaper over the last three weeks due to the 'Incredibles Summer Sale', you folks on the other side of the pond not get that? Each week different Disney films had massive discounts, all the down to €7,99.

Though I doubt we'll see an update to AirPods, it would be nice if they moved to Bluetooth 5.0 (the new MBP offers it and I'm sure the next iPhone will too). The added distance and lower battery usage would be nice additions.

Yeah they gotta put out AirPods 1.5 first with wireless charging that showed up in an icon in the recent iOS 12 build so hopefully soon so they can get it over with haha

Word of Caution: Amazon sellers have been sending out knock offs that were shrink wrapped, careful which seller you buy it from.

$145 is not a deal. Airpods have been available for $140 at Costco for months now.

But the AirPower would be 12 months late already by the time the new AirPod cases come out.
