Apple's AirPods Pro have returned to their low price of $234.98 on Amazon, down from $249.00. At about $14 off, this remains the lowest price we've ever tracked for a brand new model of the AirPods Pro among the major Apple resellers online.

This sale on the AirPods Pro typically comes around every few weeks on Amazon, and due to low stock it never lasts long. This could be exacerbated by current shipping delays, but as of writing Amazon notes that shoppers can expect the AirPods Pro to arrive between April 7 and April 16. If you've been waiting to purchase a pair, be sure to visit Amazon soon.

$15 off is enough to push people over the fence? I know they rarely if ever go on sale but..

I've oddly resisted getting these from gen 1 airpods

I don't like IEM feeling
I with you on that. I still have the first gen and debating to get the 2 gen or waiting for the next best thing ever. I don't know but I don't like the head under water feeling...

Pass.

Quick overview: They sound amazing [And are significantly louder v.s the regular AirPods], the customizable gel ear tips work very well, the active noise cancellation is absolutely incredible, (Apple nailed it here). However, they are totally different from the regular AirPods In terms of fitment. The interior design I found to be uncomfortable after 30 minutes of wearing, where unfortunately I had to return them. With the interior design, it forces pressure on the surrounding cartilage around the ear, which is what seems a lot of users Had similar experiences with

What Was interesting, I thought I was a minority, apparently it’s a much more commonality to cross for those who experience the same thing I did.

The difference being, the AirPods ‘rest’ in your ear, where the Pros actually Incorporate pressure.

Side note:

I also purchased the Galaxy buds Plus (~$100 cheaper, similar to the AirPods, adjustable wing tips/additional gel tips) excellent little item, but I found the exact same result causing discomfort. Returned

It’s fascinating how people differ so much. I just got done wearing mine for about an hour or more doing yard work. They didn’t cause me any discomfort. I’m sad to hear you experienced that.

$15 off, big whoop. Who is going to spend this kind of money on stupid ear buds during this time of uncertainty?

They sound amazing, and I was super impressed how loud they are, which is what I think the regular AirPods fall short on. And the active noise cancellation is scary good, and I think Apple did a great job here. The problem others face, is the in-ear-design puts a lot of interior pressure that may not cause initial discomfort right away, but can appear later on. That’s what I found for myself personally, However; the Pros And regular AirPods have a totally different type of fitment. I could wear the regular AirPods for hours, simply because they ‘rest’ on the ear versus push on the inner ear to create that sound isolation need for ANC.

So versus me trying to purchase multiple sets of earbuds that would fit appropriately without discomfort, [which I don’t really feel like playing that game], I Purchased Sony‘s WH-1000XM3’s Over the ear headphones with ANC, a little bit pricier over the AirPod Pros, but totally eliminated the issue I have to be concerned with with any in-ear-designs.

I'm happy with my first and second gen regular AirPods. Not sure if I'll ever upgrade to the Pro model but I guess it's good they are an option for other folks.

The tips that seal the air in your ear are what isolates the sound. Have you tried BeatsX? Wonder if you have the same problem with those.

Side note, I seriously have deja vu right now - could’ve sworn I wrote a similar comment before.

The Beats X are the ones with a wire that goes around your neck With the magnetic buds, correct? I researched those if we’re talking about the same product, and I mentioned in another main page article thread a few minutes ago, that beats seems to struggle with some quality issues with hardware, but I think they have adequate sound in terms of what they offer. Do you have personal experience with the BeatsX? What are your thoughts?

head under water? BTW, I have them, they are fantastic. Sound great, great range and stability and fantastic noise cancellation (only think that keeps me sane when the rude neighbors all let their dogs bark). I did buy third party foam tips, I like them, but about the same as the silicone stock tips

here here, very comfortable. My daughter absolutely hates in the ear ear phones. she got a pair of the bone induction. I have to say, they do sound impressive. But my pros deaden sound and I hate listening to the stupid neighbors dogs barking.

You actually don’t notice the typical in-ear feeling with the Pros. There’s an air pass-through that really works well. That said, I returned mine since they started to hurt my ears after a while (due to their shape and the shape of my ears). I can wear my original AirPods all day and never really notice I’m wearing them, but I do wish I had the benefit of noise cancellation.

I actually use my air pods 2 over my pros...just is more comfortable for me

The air pods pros now I use only for the gym...well when can go again

Same. I received mine yesterday and used them for about 2 hours. So comfortable I didn't even notice they were in my ears after a while.

Interesting observations, thanks. I was about to pull the trigger on these. I still love my AirPods 1st gen but battery doesn’t last long. What’s the difference between the Gen 1 and Gen 2 AirPods? Wireless case?

On China's e-commerce platform, the price of airpods pro is only 1399RMB(197USD)。。。

Essentially with the first GEN AirPods and second GEN, they’re largely the same With the exception of the H1 Chip,Which transcends into faster Connection time for phone calls, but also has a lower latency, which helps in terms of a crisper-quality sound over the first Gen AirPods.

The wireless case is optional for an additional purchase, but personally, I don’t see the value in that, as I’m perfectly fine using a lightning cable.

It is so interesting to me to see people describe them as sounding amazing and the noise cancelling being brilliant. At very best, they can be described as being "ok" - definitely not £250's worth of ok though. The bar must be set very low for some.

I have kept mine as they suit some of my needs but the sound quality constantly disappoints. No depth, no punch, they make some of my most favourite music sound very drab. I have a £30 set of buds off amazon that to me sound so much better, compare them to my QC20i's and the airpods sound like something I may have bought off a market stall.

They integrate however well with my watch, are comfortable whilst running and have excellent battery life so they have stayed, but only by the very skin of their teeth.

I suggest anyone buying these trials them with a very quizzical ear, perhaps back to back with an alternative they are considering as they really are not all that, which at this price range we really should be demanding better from Apple.
