AirPods Pro have hit a new all-time-low today thanks to the latest discount from Verizon Wireless. After you add the AirPods Pro to your shopping cart, you'll see a $24 discount reflected, dropping the price of the wireless headphones to $224.99, down from $249.00.

This is around $10 cheaper than the usual discount we see on the AirPods Pro, which is currently going on right now on Amazon. There you can get the AirPods Pro for $234.98, representing around a $15 discount. Verizon's price is the best price for a new pair of AirPods Pro that we've tracked to date.

Head to our Best Deals guide on AirPods to shop for discounts on all of Apple's AirPods, including the 2019 models with and without a Wireless Charging Case.

Shame the batteries in super small headphones don't hold up over repeated charge cycles...

Note that the link to the page shows the regular price, but when you add them a cart, you see the $25 discount.

Noise cancelling and interchangeable tips unlike no noise cancelling and one size fits all for non-pro.
Phone calls and watching a YouTube video. AirPods.
Listening to music. Beats Studio3 Wireless.

If I were Apple, I would dumb down the speakers in the iPhones over time and make people buy AirPods and HomePods. This way I can make people buy an Apple watch, iPhone and my expensive speakers instead of one device that does everything.

Everyone has different tastes and use cases. I have zero interest in big and bulky over the ear headphones when I can wear AirPods that both fit in a jeans "coin pocket" and are so small and light I literally forget I'm wearing them when they're not playing anything

And even with the "non-pro" AirPods, I've never felt like the audio quality for music was lacking. YMMV. I will definitely replace my Airpods with AirPods Pro at some point. Apple's best product since the original iPhone.

Every single thread that discusses a product that Apple decides to call ‘Pro’ has people complaining that said device is not a Pro device. It’s called marketing. They can call it whatever they want.

Anyways, makes sense that there’d be a new low price as I just bought 2 of these yesterday!

Quick side note on your ‘Pro’ comment:

It’s bad marketing and overly used for the ‘Pro’ moniker. We all understand Apple can all it whatever they want, but it’s not always fitting, well or even really necessary.

As for the price, even with a $24 discount, that Doesn’t even include the taxes or shipping fees if any. I paid full price for my Pros from Best Buy two weeks ago, the advantage for me, it’s just easier to return v.s. having to deal with the Shipping/sending. I personally think $24 is not substantially discounted enough to entice me versus buying ‘in store’.

Apple will make the "pro" moniker a meaningless label. Maybe the "pro" moniker has to die anyway, but it's just a way of expressing this version has more something that the other lesser version. I guess "plus" or "max" doesn't really do the job. "Pro" is much more flexible.

But one Pair of AirPods Pro cost less that 2 Mac Pro wheels.
Using this logic you can get 1.5 base iphone SE for a set of Mac Pro wheels. Or for an XDR Monitor stand you can get....

I don’t think it’s bad marketing at all. It entices people into wanting the higher end model, which is much better reasoning for a company rather than thinking “will professionals use this product?” Constantly complaining about the next ‘Pro’ use won’t get Apple to come up with something different. Seriously, people Knock Apple for a lot of things, marketing isn’t usually one of them.

And that’s a good point about the in store purchase. I’m good with buying from target.

Go through the TopCashBack cash back portal for 10% cash back on Apple accessories. That gets you $24.99 cash back and brings the out of pocket price down to an even $200.

So very true. And 4 Mac Pro wheels cost more than what my car is worth. LOL!
Not sure that any car in running condition is worth less than $1,000-$1,500. If it isn’t running or you don’t own a car, well, that’s a different story.

Placed an order for a pair. Got an email from Verizon wanting to validate the order to prevent fraud. Called them, waited on hold for 10 minutes, gave them all pertinent information and then they wanted me to send in a photo for FURTHER validation in order to finalize the order. Screw you guys. My credit card company should be the one verifying fraud, not you. Order cancelled since I refuse to send them a copy of my license
