There are a few new discounts on Apple's Smart Battery Case line today, including those for the iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max, iPhone XR, and iPhone 11. Many of the sales include best-ever prices for these cases, and you'll find discounts below from Amazon and Best Buy.

To start, you can get the iPhone XS Smart Battery Case in White for $69.00 on Amazon, down from $129.00 ($60 off). At nearly half off, this is definitely a solid deal and the best price we've ever tracked on this particular accessory among the major Apple resellers online.

If you own an iPhone XS Max, your best option for a Smart Battery Case is at Best Buy today, which has the accessory for $79.99 in White and Black, down from $129.00 ($49 off).

The iPhone XR Smart Battery Case in White is available for $80.99 on Amazon, down from $129.00 ($48 off). The Black color option is priced at $89.99 at the time of writing, which is still a solid deal on the charging accessory.

Lastly, if you have a newer iPhone you can get the iPhone 11 Smart Battery Case in Black for $99.00 on Amazon, down from $129.00 ($30 off). This is the best price on the device that we've tracked, and as of now there aren't any notable discounts on the iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max versions of the Smart Battery Case.

I would be possibly tempted to get a white battery case for my XR, since I have a black silicone 11 case for it... but battery life without it is still really good even on iOS 13 even jailbroken and I'm worried it could degrade the stock battery faster and would look dirty quick / that battery hump

I've never invested in an Apple battery case

its also the same price at Best Buy right now

I used one of these on my iPhone 6 and 8, but I've never needed one with the iPhone 11. The improved battery and efficiency on the newer iPhones is clearly noticeable. My iPhone easily lasts twice as long as my Samsung S9, and I use the S9 half as much during the day.

I bought one of these cases for a trip I took a couple weeks ago, and I liked it a lot. However, the killer feature on these cases is the dedicated camera button.

Don't sleep on that feature. I miss it as soon as I take the case off the iPhone. I hope we have a camera button on the iPhone in the future. Same side as the lock button, near the bottom of the phone. Same button placement as these battery cases.

Genuinely curious - its that much more convenient than press holding the camera icon on lock screen?

I love these cases, but it seems the xs max deal is already wrong. the link says 79.99 then you click on it and its listed for 104

Maybe I missed something, but these apple cases do not have a dedicated camera button.

Why is it called a smart battery ?

I think because it has built in iOS features to show battery level of the case and the phone,

charges the phone first and case second too priority wise

whether or not thats 'smart enough' to you is subjective though

Why is it called a smart battery ?
It integrates with iOS more than other battery cases. For example it will operate off the case first before using the phones internal battery. It recognizes it as a battery case and not a charger so it doesn't fire all of the radios at full power and it also has better transparency for the phones internal antennas meaning.

You wouldn't think it saves much time, but you can have the camera READY when it comes out of your pocket. Push the button as you're taking it out of your pocket and it's ready to go.

If you have all the time you want to capture a photo, it's not too useful. If you're walking around a city or having a party and you want to get that shot that might not be there in 2 seconds, that time is essential. I got several shots I would have missed if I didn't have that camera button.

I don't love the extra bulk of course, but that button is wonderful. I would rather have a camera button than a mute switch if I had to pick one.

I could actually see that. Feels more like a point and shoot than just a phone.. I guess I would have to experience having it to appreciate it and not want to do without it

Especially because there are times I think it would be nice to map flashlight to a physical button, even if a double press or something (and have had this in the past with a jailbreak tweak called Activator)
