The Beats Fit Pro is actually a very underrated set of earbuds. If you don't need the cachet of the AirPods Pro, they're a great deal.
Yup. I absolutely love my BFP. Although I may quibble that they're "underrated" because they are pretty widely praised by their users. But I totally get what you're saying.

Also, anyone looking for this on Amazon Canada be careful - the discounts for the various Beats products all appear to be "buy used" and not new.

Interested in the Beats Fit Pro but the wingtip replacement cost is $90/pair by Apple. Ouch!
Some people in the Apple Forums have said that the tips last ~6 months or so.

I've had my BFP since last April and the wingtips are still in perfect shape.

This! Make sure you have Apple care with them. Mine started to come apart 8-9 months and were replaced for “free”. I decided to just upgrade to the AirPods Pro 2.

Very true. They are great for exercising. I never worry about them falling out of my ears, and the audio quality is very solid. Would love if they updated the Beats Fit Pro cases with AirPods Pro case tech. But that's a minor thing.

Covered by the 1 year warranty, as well as Apple care

Apparently the wingtips are relatively fragile and prone to breaking for some/many, depending on the user. There are some Amazon reviewers that state that as well.

According to some users in the Apple Forum, the warranty does not cover 'Physical damage' or 'wear and tear' as their wingtips were broke apart within months and Apple refuse to replace them under warranty. The users had to pay the cost directly as some didn't buy AppleCare.
Not everyone wants or believes in AppleCare.
So one pays $90 out of pocket or $29+29= $58, possibly another $29, if tips are replaced twice in 1 year, which some users have reported. If that's the case, then AppleCare coverage won't matter if the wingtips keep breaking.

Apple's Support website:
"AirPods, AirPods Pro, Beats $29 Cost.
  • Unlimited incidents of accidental damage protection, each subject to a service fee of $29, plus applicable tax"

I don't know how well these actually work (so see other comments for info about that). Based on the discounts alone, they're quite comparable to what I've seen from the Google Store*, so neat to see discounts all across both platforms!

* 30% off their air pods, and then another sale of 10% off. Although the Pixel 6, 6A, 7, and 7 Pro phones are discounted too (with the P6A at $350 not the lowest price ($300), but still not bad for a phone that was already relatively affordable to being with).

I’ve been using the beats fit pro since they came out. Sound is great. Build quality is decent. I’d buy again.

I wish the Beats Fit Pro I had would’ve stayed in my ears, but they wouldn’t. I tried every size of the included cups. So now I’ve been wanting to get the PowerBeats Pro, but in Canada they’re $330 despite being over 3.5 years old. I hope Apple releases a 2nd gen version with noise cancelling. Then I’d have no problem paying full price.

I love my OG beats, but I can’t wear them for too long, I get a headache. My next upgrade is likely to be the AirPods Max.

Ooh, I guess I’m only saving 60% of what I normally save by not buying “Beats.” And my wingtips have lasted since I think 1995 or so, although I have had to get them resoled a couple times.

If Dre and Jimmy aren’t involved anymore what’s even the point of Beats still being a thing? I haven’t seen any in the wild in a long time. At one point they were everywhere. It’s another brand that Apple bought and made boring. The colors are bland. The product cycles are dragged out. Perfect opportunity to make some really cool headphones aimed at basement producers and people that love specific music. Instead they just are milking the brand until it’s dead and they have converted everyone to AirPods. Such a waste of a brand that had bigger potential. Why go to the trouble of keeping it around only to let it stagnate? It’s really a shame.

Cool, I’m already aware what the terms say but I can only tell you my experience. and S you probably know, the Apple tech experience isn’t very consistent. But I went in expecting to pay an AppleCare fee, and they were both replaced free under warranty. That’s my experience.
