Airpod second gen for $129 or Beats Studio Buds for $100? Beats are 100% better in every way and now cheaper.

The Beats Fit Pro have been solid for me. The AirPods Pro wouldn't stay in my ears - especially while active - although I tried to make them work for a long time as if I could will them to.

I wish the BFP case had Find My, but it is great to finally have an in-ear that will stay in my ears while still pairing nicely with my Apple devices. I highly recommend them to anyone who has difficulty keeping the APP in place.

I can't believe they still charge for the PowerBeats Pro -- now coming up on 5 years.

I have the Studio Buds and Fit Buds, and BOTH have the same issue of 50+ % of the time one ear bud has not charged for some reason. I do not have this issue on my Google, Aukey or Samsung buds I've had previously. I love the way my Beats sound but the fact they seem to NEVER seat right makes them useless when I want to use them.

I have cleaned the buds, the case, the little contacts, nothing seems to help at all other then just reseating the dead bud MULTIPLE times till it finally starts to get a charge.

Beats Fit Pro are my daily drivers. No complaints… AirPods Pro wouldn’t stay in my ear.. just wish it had all the features… Wireless charging case, find my… etc..
Here’s to hoping the new ones will pick up the slack

I got the Beats Solo3 last time Amazon had them on sale for a project that they didn't work out for so I only use them occasionally. I like the sound for a basic set of wireless headphones, BUT the headband is squeezes my head so much I can only were them for about 45 minutes and then have to put them away.

I've owned every generation of Apple's wireless AirPods. I wanted noise canceling, so I bought the AirPod Pros (1st gen) on release. I loved them, except I could never achieve a good fit, and they're the first set of Apple pods that have fallen out of my ears (while walking down a sidewalk -- try finding one of those in the snow). So I bought the AirPods 3, which sound better than the 1st gen Pros (to me) and fit my ears perfectly, and kept the Pros as a backup.

Thanks to this sale, however, I decided to try the Beats Fit Pro and got same-day delivery. First impressions after a few hours, one of which was exercising: they're everything I wanted from the Pros. Pairing with Apple products is flawless as expected, awesome sound, good bass (unlike Beats from days of yore), great noise canceling, and the big one: a perfect fit out of the box. I was worried about those wing tips, but they were effortless to figure out and held them firmly in place with no pain. My only caveat is that the charging case is larger than expected and made of cheap, brittle plastic. The buds themselves don't look cheap, but the case certainly does. I'm very a happy with them.

Love my BFP. APP wouldn't stay in my ears no matter what tips I used. BFP are rock solid.

Spot on. I've had every version of AirPods and they don't stay in my ear well enough for any activity except walking. I bought a vinyl "leash" to band them together in case one fell out. Beats Fit Pro is perfect for any activity and the sound quality and operating noise cancellation are superior. BFP stays in the car and APP stays on my desk.

I love my Beats Studio Buds - they have my favourite sound out of all the new Apple/Beats earbuds.

I tried out the Beats Fit Pros but the reports of the non replaceable wingtip ripping for some people is too much to worry about at this price point. So I returned those, although they also fit great. The sound wasn’t my favourite though.

In terms of Airpod Pros, I’m selling my first generation pair (while they still work). They never really fit me correctly and constantly fell out unless I was using wingtips, and they were by far the most problematic pair of headphones I’ve ever had. The amount of times I replaced them under AppleCare+ was absolutely absurd.

Have had various wireless IEM (APP, PBP, BeatsX etc) and have settled on the BFP - cannot fault them, the only way they could be better is by doing what they already do but better!!

BFP could use a MagSafe charging case. But other than that it trumps AirPods Pro in every aspect.
