Don't get me wrong, Anker clearly makes good products, and Anker's solution is always almost what I want.

Wrong about what? I agree they make good products. We have several in our home. Power strip; batteries; bluetooth speakers; qi chargers; cables; etc. I like that one can collect a bunch of Anker things without breaking the bank.

It's just that they always feel incomplete. For example I want a black magnetic iphone charger that can also charge airpods. They made exactly what I wanted and only released white. They made a 100W hub but left out Display Port. Some of their hubs actually note that they may not work with 2.4 Ghz receivers. It's little things.

What clearly makes Anker good products? I would disagree, have you seen the internals?
No, because all the ones I have purchased still work. However, I would agree that my issues with them started shortly after I noticed they were being sold at Walmart.

Yes. And they make AirPods "alternatives" which I guess don't have the W1 chip?

I would like to have a red qi charger to go with my red iPhone.

You found them at Wal Mart? I've looked for Anker stuff at Wal Mart and Best Buy and never found any of their products there. I even asked at Best Buy. I think their response was "huh?" I just order my Anker stuff from Amazon.

I see some of there stuff. It's the low end stuff, like this Keyboard that was in stock the other day. I mostly stopped paying attention. And the only reason I saw it was because someone put it down in the wrong section of the store. I think I stopped pay attention to their brand shortly after they started spinning off into half a dozen companies.
