9.7-Inch iPad

Secondly, Amazon has the best sale online for the 9.7-inch iPad from early 2018, matching the all-time best price for the 128GB version of the tablet. During the sale, you can get the Wi-Fi iPad (128GB) for $329.00, down from $429.00 ($100 off). The iPad is available in Gold, Silver, and Space Gray.

A few Wi-Fi + Cellular options are also on sale, including the 128GB model for $479.00, down from $559.00 ($80 off). All three colors are available again, and this discount is also matching the lowest-ever price seen for this iPad, so be sure to head to Amazon and check out the sales while they last.

Refurbished iPhone X and 10.5-Inch iPad Pro

There are a few refurbished flash sales happening today at Woot as well, where you can get solid discounts on an iPhone X or 10.5-inch iPad Pro. The iPhone X starts at $649.99 for the 64GB option, and as usual Woot's refurbishing process states that these products are expected to have a moderate amount of wear and tear (potentially including scratches and dents), but they have been tested to be in full working condition.

Likewise, the 10.5-inch iPad Pro starts at $499.99 for the 256GB option with 4G LTE. As a point of comparison, new versions of the same iPad Pro from mid 2017 sell for around $779 on sites like Amazon right now, so if you're okay with a refurbished version of an older iPad, this is definitely a solid deal.

2 quick questions,Is it safe on your battery over time to fast charge, also is it fine to go with other brands other than Apple for the use of this tech? Also as a side note what if u went Apple fast charge cord into USB-C Anker Fast Charger>redundant? Thank you for your help!

I basically have the same questions. I have always been skeptical about fast charging my phones. Last night, however, while half asleep and trying to place my iPhone XS Max on the desk it fell off and the charger broke. I decided to try fast charge so I ordered Ankers PD adapter and USB-C to lightning cable. Will be in tomorrow morning. I’m excited, but not too sure. But then again, I rarely use my phones past a year. My Max (bought Nov 2018) is still at 100% battery health.

There’s two types of “fast charge”

Old usb-a to lightning cables will charge your phone faster with higher watt chargers than the 5w charger you get in the iPhone box. I always charge my iPhone this way. No issues and just about as fast as usb-c power delivery.

USB-c to lightning cable with power delivery is “true” fast charging. It pushes more watts and faster and manages the load. Personally I think it’s a waste of money over the above mentioned option. Also shouldn’t be an issue from a safety perspective.

Of course some will swear that it degrades the battery faster over time. Maybe so, but not enough for you to actually notice.

Yup totally fine. You’re not actually charging at 60w. Each port is probably 10-12w. I think the iPhone draws up to 18... could be less but either way anything is better than the 5w they include in the box. Article below gives a good summary. There’s a ton of YouTube videos and other articles out there as well. In short, unless you REALLY want fast charge from usb-c power delivery the incremental gains aren’t really worth the extra dollars you have to pay.
