Sounds like they're desperate to get sales after it was revealed their "security cameras" were spying on you and uploading images to the cloud without your consent. Don't buy Anker products. They don't value you as a customer.

Boom! Just ordered the PowerCore 40K for that 12hr flight to Japan! Downloading every Kurosawa film I own AND the first two seasons of StarBlazers in preparation. I can now watch without battery concern!
I'd check with the airline before you bring that along. The FAA for example has a maximum of 160Wh for batteries IIRC, and this would seem to be 5V * 40Ah = 200Wh.

Yea I think the 737 I want just makes it at like 26800

Oh it's 24k. I think I read 26800 was the limit

That’s the clickbait version of what really happened. You’re trying to make it sound like it was done for nefarious purposes while misrepresenting what happened.

I grabbed the PowerCore 20,000. Will be helpful when I take a trip around Europe next spring.

I would have gotten the MagSafe battery pack, but I was disappointed it charges with lightning. Not gonna buy something when it’ll be obsolete in 10 months when I upgrade.

I still really like the MagSafe charging station, I just wish they would update it for the new MagSafe AirPods cases, and usb-c Watch chargers. I’ll probably buy 5 of them if they ever get around to it.

I love flying to Japan with my MBA m2 and not having to worry about charging, what are you watching on?

Amazon Japan has done this many times. I bought it before saving money. But sorry I bought it after problems with these crappy items.

I bought Anker items for many years. But after countless problems never again. with this issue with cameras. I glade I never bought them.

I missed the latest info where all their marketing that clearly stated again and again that everything was only kept locally and totally safe with nothing uploaded to the cloud *wasn't* a lie and somehow uploading face recognition pics to the cloud or being easily hackable to just video stream off any of the cameras was no longer correct!?! Where do I read about these new reality-distorting excuses?

I knew they said "well of course we had to do that for some features, people should have known", but that's clearly not the case if the camera directly sent stuff encrypted straight to your other devices via a network with none of it sat about on their servers and so still goes totally against all their marketing info.

The link to Anker's page says to stay under 100Wh. The link to the FAA says nothing over 160Wh is allowed. This power bank is 148Wh, which is under 160Wh.

Delta for example allows batteries up to 160Wh in line with the FAA guidelines.
Size Limits for Lithium Batteries:

Passengers are permitted to travel with lithium ion batteries that contain a maximum of 160-watt hours per battery. Any lithium ion battery containing more than 160-watt hours is prohibited from carriage on all passenger aircraft. Lithium ion batteries installed in a personal electronic device can be transported as checked or carry-on baggage. Lithium ion batteries not installed in a device (spares) must be in carry-on baggage and no more than two (2) spares between 100 and 160-watt hours are allowed.
