Compared to past sales, this is a match of the 2022 record low price on the 40mm GPS Apple Watch SE. This model is shipped and sold by Amazon, with stock available today in three color options.

You can also get the 44mm GPS Apple Watch SE for $259.99 on Amazon, down from $309.00. This model is also available in three colors (note that Gold Aluminum has an on-page coupon), but overall it's a second-best price on this model.

There are also cellular versions of the Apple Watch SE on sale today, starting at $279.99 for the 40mm model, down from $329.00; and rising to $309.99 for the 44mm model, down from $359.00. There are more case and band styles on sale for the cellular models, including Space Gray Aluminum with Tornado/Grey Sport Loop and Silver Aluminium with Abyss Blue/Moss Green Sport Loop.

For those interested, Costco also has all Watch SE models -$40 online ending tomorrow. 3mos return window and other benefits with Costco Citi card.

This is the watch 99% of people should be buying. Great deal for what you get.
Agreed. I'm personally thinking of getting the SE if a newer version comes this fall, and a S8 if not, since the current SE will have been around for >2yrs by Oct. With how the watch value drops I sometimes wish Apple had a biennial upgrade program for them. Either way, I've been watch-free for almost a year and I had the SS S3 so both would be an upgrade.

Man, every time I see the silver Apple Watches I wish I'd gotten that colour. My green one is just a bit too bland.

anyone know if the SE 40 mm in standalone family mode would be a good option for small kids? I suppose air tags would be cheaper from a safety perspective.

My niece has a “Spacetalk” smartwatch which is specially designed for kids. She loves it. Kid friendly features like a selfie-cam. Parent friendly features like calls and txts (restricted to authorised contacts) and GPS tracking ?

Am thinking of trying an SE, either now or when the upgraded one comes, but I just haven’t had good luck with smart watches in general. I have owned a Fitbit, Fossil, Samsung Active 2, and now a Miband 5. The only one that has not destructed thus far is the MiBand. My Fitbit’s face broke. The Fossil fell apart twice requiring warranty work, The Samsung screen died 1 month out of warranty and required $100 to fix. Still on the MiBand, but only have it because it was a gift for my daughter she used one week and put in a drawer. Amazingly, it is still alive after 8 months, but I have to restart it before every exercise, or heart rate does not track. ALL of them had their issues. I expect Apple would be better, but I am just afraid to spend much on a smartwatch. They just don’t seem rugged enough.
