In the wake of Prime Day we aren't tracking as many discounts as we were earlier in the week, but Amazon is offering a handful of solid markdowns on the 2021 MacBook Pro lineup today. These include multiple all-time low prices on the 14-inch and 16-inch models of the MacBook Pro.

14-inch MacBook Pro

You can get the 14-inch MacBook Pro (8-Core M1 Pro/512GB) for $1,799.00 in Silver and Space Gray, down from $1,999.00. This is a solid second-best price on the 14-inch MacBook Pro, and there's a slight shipping delay with estimated delivery of around July 23 for Silver and August 2 for Space Gray.

For a higher-end model, the 10-Core M1 Pro/1TB 14-inch MacBook Pro is on sale for $2,249.00, down from $2,499.00. This is an all-time low price on this model of the 14-inch MacBook Pro, and at this time it's only available in Silver.

16-inch MacBook Pro

Moving to the larger 16-inch MacBook Pro, we're tracking an all-time low price on the 10-Core M1 Pro/512GB 16-inch MacBook Pro, priced at $2,249.00, down from $2,499.00. This one is available in both colors, with Space Gray running low on stock as of writing.

On the higher end, the 10-Core M1 Pro/1TB 16-inch MacBook Pro is on sale for $2,449.00, down from $2,699.00. At $250 off, this is the best price you'll find online for this version of the 2021 16-inch MacBook Pro.

Ordered 16 inch M1 Max from apple a month ago, now more month before it arrives...

Great deal if you are considering one. I made the jump and my 14" MBP base has been great to use and I am just a casual user.

I was back and forth between this and the new m2 MBA but spec'd with 16 gb ram and 512 gb ssd the price was too close to not go for the MBP.

I am coming from a 12" MacBook. Portability and size doesn't make a big enough difference to miss it. Screen size, 120 hz refresh rate, HDR, and keyboard are worth it to me.

you gotta be crazy if you are willing to grab the mba m2 lol
...so saving $700 is "crazy"? $1,099 for the edu pricing on the M2 Air which outperforms the M1 Pro with single core performance, longer lasting battery, lighter and thinner, and for those who the Air is designed for (office productivity apps, browsing, school, light dev or photo editing work) the 8 GB starting memory is fine for.

I’m assuming he means same specs. The price difference between the air 16/512 and this pro 16/512 make the pro the logical choice.

PC glut happening now as demand crashes. As Michael Burry put it recently — get ready for Christmas in July.
There's usually a sell off in the PC market in June-July most years. That's right before new PC models are refreshed in August and prices jump back up for the new school year.

Funny, just the same here. I ordered mine today. Coming from that lovely 12 Macbbok too. Was thinking of getting the MBA2 but upgraded with more Ram and ssd its the same price as the 14 MBP (here in Germany). I also have the ipad Pro 12.9 Xdr, so i know how beautiful the mini led screen can look like. Hope to get my new MBP tomorrow.

Great deal, bu unless you're rolling in duckets, using an Apple Card for interest-free monthly payments for a year is a better deal. That's what I did with my 14" Pro. There's no way I could've gotten it otherwise.

I was ready to hop on the M2 Air until they announced the price. At that point, 14” MBP became a no-brainer. It’s vastly superior over a similarly spec’ed M2 Air in almost every way except for weight.

BUT, I’ve decided to not give Apple any money until they stop with the recent shenanigans of ripping off its customers.

I can’t remember a time when Apple released Macs that had inferior performance/value over the 2 year old models they replaced, but here we are.

The display is a big difference as well. I had to upgrade to 14” from MBA after using an iPad Pro because I can’t stand 60Hz refresh rate anymore. If you’re going to have a notch, might as well have it on a great screen.
