Amazon is back with solid discounts on Apple's 2021 MacBook Pro notebooks this week, offering up to $699 off select models. The highlight of the sale is a new all-time low price on the 16-inch MacBook Pro (10-Core M1 Pro, 1TB), and you'll also find a 14-inch model on sale below.

16-Inch MacBook Pro

First is the 16-inch MacBook Pro (10-Core M1 Pro, 1TB), which is on sale for $1,999.97 in Silver, down from $2,699.00. This is the lowest we've ever seen the 16-inch MacBook Pro drop, and right now only Amazon has the sale.

You can also get the 16-inch MacBook Pro (10-Core M1 Max, 1TB) for $2,999.99, down from $3,499.00. Amazon has this sale available in Silver and Space Gray, and it's a match of the lowest price we've ever tracked on this model of the 2021 MacBook Pro.

14-Inch MacBook Pro

Lastly, the 14-inch MacBook Pro (10-Core M1 Pro, 1TB) is on sale for $1,999.97, down from $2,499.00. This is the same deal price as the 16-inch model mentioned above, and both the 14-inch and 16-inch models share the same specs, but if you need the 14-inch version it's still a great sale.

Those are some steep discounts, now that the M2 versions are out. But these are still very good computers, I’m sure they won’t have them in stock for long.
Same prices for the 14" as we saw in November. Anyone whose waited this long should wait longer

Yea like the people who buy a higher unit product even though buying the same in smaller packages is less. Like Laughing Cow at Giant yesterday. Single was $3.09 marked down to $2.99. Double was $6.19. Even if the single wasn't on sale, you would pay a cent less for two vs the double.

I love how you notice this. Sometimes when I go grocery shopping, I swear it’s like a free IQ test in the aisles. It feels like an inside joke between me and the people setting the pricing. “🤫 we got you. Just rob us because everyone else already paid for you to take it.”

Amazon algorithms matching Costco prices. It's sold out at Costco now, so the same happens on Amazon. Always buy at Costco if you want 2 year warranty though.

16'' MSRP should start from $1499

No way I'm spending more than $1500 on a product that's going to be outdated in 2 years

Why not just $999, $499 or $99? How about Apple just provides you with it for free because you're so special? None of the Apple Silicon Macs are "outdated" and this model most certainly will do everything you need it to for more than 2 years. People hardly blink at spending $40k+ on a car, but $2k on a veritable supercomputer that practically never requires maintenance or extra costs and is in use for hours every day (hopefully making money for you) for 5+ years or more is too expensive 🙄

Price is actually $2399, not $1999 ... might have been a slight error when it first went up on sale.

And this is why MBA15 will be such a hit. I hope they don't shove too much in and drive the price into
MBP range. Would be nice to finally get a large screen Macbook at a reasonable price.

I spent $4k on my 2019 MBP ... But I had my late model 2013 for 7 years and I'd still be using it if it didn't give up the ghost. I don't buy Apple hardware because it's trendy or because its the latest thing, I buy Apple because the engineering standards have no equal, and their customer service has no equal... the entire experience of working with Apple cannot be had with any other brand and that makes their product worth the asking price.
