B&H Photo today has returned the 512GB 16-inch MacBook Pro to its lowest price of $2,099.00, down from $2,399.00. We've seen this price a few times this year, and it's the current best price you'll find for a new 16-inch MacBook Pro among the major Apple resellers online.

Likewise, you can also save on the 1TB 16-inch MacBook Pro on B&H Photo, which is pricing this notebook at $2,499.00, down from $2,799.00. This discount has been pretty consistent throughout the beginning of the year, and both of these sales are solid $300 markdowns on Apple's newest MacBook Pro.

If you want a smaller 13-inch model, there are some sale options for those as well that we've rounded up below from B&H Photo.

We've begun tracking the best monthly deals on all new MacBook Pro and MacBook Air notebooks in our new "Best Deals" guide. Be sure to visit the guide and bookmark it if you're on the hunt for a new Apple notebook; we'll be updating it weekly as we discover new MacBook offers across the web.

The Space Gray base is $2,099 but the Silver is still $2,199. I keep reading about smearing display issues for the 16". How legit are those complaints?

They're pretty legit -- you can look up videos on YouTube to see demonstrations. That said, from what I understand, the ghosting is pretty common on MacBook Pros over the past several years, and most people didn't notice at all. It was there; it just didn't bother most people.

Re: the Space Grey being cheaper, that drove me nuts too! I went ahead and placed an order for the silver anyhow, on Amazon, but it won't ship. It's been on hold (shipment-wise) for a few days now. I totally understand this given what's going on in the country (prioritizing essential goods over non-essential) but I'm wondering if I should cancel my order from Amazon, and order from B&H instead, who seems to be shipping.

It is so disappointing that modern Apple hasn’t prioritized screen quality & experience anymore.

The ghosting thing is *absolutely* real, particularly if you have a much older machine (or non Mac good quality desktop screen, etc) and go use the 16” in stores. I noticed right away, and now always can’t “un-see it”, whenever I play with a 16” real quick (usually to try out keyboard over and over).

OR, you can go to Apple's online store and order a refurbished one for $2,099 like I did. In excellent, like-new condition, with the same 1-year warranty as well as the ability to add AppleCare+ within 60 days. You also get the same 14-day return window if you don't like it. The $2,099 is for the base model in both space gray and silver. And you can get it as soon as the next day if you're willing to part with an additional $8.
