Like many retailers, Best Buy is offering hundreds of deals as part of an early Black Friday shopping event during the first few weeks of November. Unlike Walmart, which is dividing up its early Black Friday sale into three events, Best Buy's sale is one massive ongoing sale leading up to November 25.

The traditional Black Friday where the real sales take place on the Friday after Thanksgiving is long gone.
 
The LG C2 55”/65” for $1299/$1699 is a phenomenal set for price, great for playing games on it, as well as a bit more brighter than the very popular C1 was previous. Both set weigh a lot less thanks to LG using carbon fiber in back of the screen. This pricing started just before Nov, when LG USA store dropped their price, not unique to BB.

"Early" doesn't mean "always." Just because a sale may run days or weeks longer doesn't mean the products are always on sale at those prices.

Retailers have been trying to get an earlier and earlier jump on each other with holiday shoppers for years. COVID added to that a bit and recent excess inventory issues are contributing too.
 
It should be noted that at least the 48" LG OLED is the entry level A2 series, rather than the B or C series which are better for gamers.
 
Gotta love how Best Buy snubs the Apple Watch in their early Black Friday deals.
