Parallels today introduced a new premium Mac app bundle, which includes 14 free macOS apps when you purchase Parallels Desktop 18. The bundle will remain on sale through the end of the month and is available to new and existing Parallels customers.

Apps in the bundle include the following: Parallels Desktop 18, Snagit 2023, Fantastical, PDF Expert, MindManager Essentials, Painter, TextExpander, Intego Mac Premium Bundle X9, WinZip for Mac Pro, Hype 4.1 Professional, Parallels Toolbox, Cardhop, AdRemover, Fantastical Scheduling, and Parallels Access.



Most of the apps in the bundle are one year subscriptions that will require you renew in 12 months if you wish to keep the services. We've listed all of the apps in the bundle below, along with noting the ones that are subscription services.

New customers can purchase the bundle starting at $99.99 for Parallels Desktop 18 Standard Edition. The Parallels Desktop 18 Pro Edition and Business Edition are available at $119.99/year and $149.99/year respectively. You can also opt to pay a premium price for a one-time purchase of Parallels Desktop 18.

When purchasing any version of Parallels Desktop 18, you'll get the 14 other apps at no extra cost. Existing customers can upgrade to Parallels Desktop 18 Standard Edition for a one-time payment of $69.99. Pro Edition options are available in the form of an annual subscription at $69.99/year.

These deals used to expand your app library with random utilities you may never need and basically saved you a google search for a freeware alternative once in a while. Now you also have to hope that day comes within a year from now.
So this is only useful if you already needed (and actually wanted to pay) the licence for a few of them at the same time and... hadn't bought one already for some reason. What are the odds?

Make it at least 50% real purchases and maybe I'll read the whole list next time.

Most of these are subscriptions as other commenters have noted. After the first year, if you wanted to continue using most of these apps, you would be paying $700 per year combined. But I guess if you’re a parallels user, the free year trial of these apps could be seen as a bonus if you think you would ever use them.

I literally have no idea what 3/4 of these programs even are nor do.

PDF Expert? huh?! We're in a Mac Forum...

Will it add a year to my Fantastical Subscription or is it new customers only? That would make it worth the price alone.

PDF Expert is the only app I have from
This lot and I use it all the time. It’s a really great app for the Mac.

The rest are meh. Fantastical, whilst it has same good features, looks ugly and is so bloated. It is not worth a subscription. It’s like a $80 full pic jade peoce value.

You should have jumped on the MPU 20% discount. thats as good as its going to get.. thats not even a real fantastical subscription in the bundle.. there is no $19/year..
