Hyper

Starting with Hyper, you can get the company's HyperJuice 18W 10,000 mAh Battery Pack for $48.00, down from $59.99. Additionally, the HyperJuice 18W 15,000 mAh Battery Pack is discounted to $64.00, down from $79.99 in the new sale.

To see these discounts, add either Battery Pack to your shopping cart and enter the code 18WLIGHTNING in the discount code box on the checkout screen. This will take 20 percent off each accessory (and you can purchase both at once at a discount).

These Battery Packs come with integrated Lightning and USB-C cables, and support Apple fast charging which can recharge an empty iPhone to 50 percent in 30 minutes. You can also recharge the Battery Pack itself from empty to 100 percent in about two hours.

Satechi

At Satechi, you can get the 100W USB-C PD Wall Charger for $56.00, down from $69.99 with the discount code GAN100. After adding the accessory to your cart, you can enter this code in the discount code box on the checkout screen.

Apple's own 96W USB-C Power Adapter has a shipping delay of up to three months currently on Apple.com, making Satechi's accessory a great alternative buy for anyone who needs a power adapter before the end of the year.

The Wall Charger features charging up to 100W, making it a perfect companion for Apple's USB-C MacBooks and iPads. Specifically, it's compatible with 2016 and recent MacBook Pro, 2018 and recent MacBook Air, iPad Pro, 2020 iPad Air, and iPhone models since the X. The Wall Charger does not come with a USB-C cable.

The pack with integrated cables sounds interesting and for a moment was seriously tempting for some situations (oops I lost my cable). Sadly reading the specifications leaves me a bit disappointed.

The open USB-C Port appears to be for input only, so no way to connect a longer USB-C or USB-C to lightning cable to that port and have a bit more freedom of movement. That really limits the device IMO, as while the integrated cables are nice, both have really short leads and limit usefulness of any attached device while it is charging.

Why oh why is there no good dual USB-C high wattage GaN chargers? I want one so I can charge my MacBook and MagSafe Duo while traveling and only needing one (hopefully small) efficient charger. Anker have a 65W one that's just come out but ideally I want something around 85W that's as small as possible and support the latest PPD standard.

All you need is a single hand crank to charge all of your devices. You simply vary your speed to decide how much current they receive. Or are millennials afraid of breaking a sweat to charge their TikTok rectangle

The HyperJuice 18W 10000mAh Battery Pack looks like a good fast charging solution so you don't have to have a battery pack connected to your phone for so long when trying to recharge when out and about. It's a little bigger than I'd like though - anyone know of a battery pack with those features that's a little more compact?

There are plenty of 4 port (2 USB-C and 2 USB A) GaN chargers that have combined 100W power. That should be enough for both the MacBook and MagSafe duo.

Good one. Any suggestions? It will be an interesting Christmas gift.

No thanks - Satechi hubs fried countless M1 MacBooks.

Another forum poster here tested several Satechi hubs and found they output more than twice the ‘safe’ voltage.

Satechi aren’t an electronics company.

They’re a desktop accessories company that started making electronics with other people’s hardware.

I’ll stick with a legit brand like Caldigit thanks.

I have seen some of those but they always look big and for consistency I only want two USB-C ports. I've completely ditched all USB-A ports from my life.

The Anker below is almost perfect aside from two issues, it's only 65W (I want 85W or higher) and the different ports are not interchangeable which is a small niggle I agree.

Looks pretty great other than no PPS.

PPS is not supported on Apple devices.
That's not to say it won't be supported going forward, also most other device will likely adopt it over the next few years. I'm looking for a charger that will last me a long time and work at peak performance for all my devices.
