Apple's 128GB Wi-Fi 12.9-inch iPad Pro from 2022 is available for $999.00 today at both Amazon and B&H Photo, down from $1,099.00. At $100 off, this is a match of the all-time low price on this version of the pro-level Apple tablet.

Amazon has a delivery estimate ranging between September 27 and September 30. B&H Photo has faster options with free two-day shipping and availability for around September 21. Both retailers only have the Space Gray color at this price.

The iPad Pro deal today follows in the footsteps of a few other iPad deals we tracked yesterday. This includes the 10th generation iPad for $399.00 and the 9th generation iPad for $269.99, both of which are still available.

M3 chip will be launched within 6 months before April 2024.

When that occurs these iPads will get a refresh within the next 12 months.

- iPad Pro M3
- iPad Air M2
- iPad mini A16 Bionic
- iPad A15 Bionic

Longest Software Support Lifespan of each iPad line

- iPad Pro: 8 years & counting... likely to exceed 9 years, 2 months
- iPad Air: 9 years, 2 months
- iPad mini: 9 years, 2 months
- iPad: 8 years, 4 months

I'll likely replace my 2018 iPad Pro A12X Bionic with the 2027 models as it will have the replaceable battery mandated by EU law.

If I only stuck with a 2011 MBP 13" 32nm until 2021 MBP 16" 5nm, I may be tempted to replace it with a 2028 MBP 16" 1nm.

Ah the allure of the iPad...
I spent 2 years wanting one but suffering not being able to afford it...

Then I finally was able to afford it and I realized I had no real use for it.
Money saved, I guess...

I'm a very minimal apple user, it's pretty much only iPhone and Mac (and airpods for me).

I know I'm old faschioned, but for me Apple is the MAC.
MAc and macOS announcements are always the thing I get most excited for!
I'm way more excited about Sonoma and the M3 chips than i/ipadOS 17 and the new iPhones.
