Following a deal on the AirPods Pro 2, Verizon is continuing its Apple-related discounts today with a trio of markdowns on the MagSafe Charger, MagSafe Duo Charger, and MagSafe Battery Pack. Verizon offers free two-day shipping and free in-store pick-up for all orders, and you don't need to be a Verizon Wireless user to take advantage of these deals.

In total, you can save 25 percent on MagSafe chargers with this sale, and no coupon is required. You can get the MagSafe Charger for $29.99, down from $39.00. The MagSafe Duo Charger is down to $96.74, from $129.00; and the MagSafe Battery Pack is down to $74.24, from $99.00.

Besides an occasional sale at Amazon, Verizon has been one of the only retailers to consistently discount all three of these accessories over the past few months. The MagSafe Duo Charger is at the best price we've ever tracked, while the MagSafe Battery Pack and regular MagSafe Charger are just a few dollars higher than their best-ever prices, so they're still solid deals.

Don't forget to check out Verizon's deal on the AirPods Pro 2 as well, which is on sale for $199.99 at the retailer, representing savings of $49. Be sure to visit our full Deals Roundup to shop for even more Apple-related products and accessories.

I bought some AirPods Pro from Verizon a few weeks ago and it was a very smooth experience. They had a little pickup locker in the front of the store, and clicking on a link in the order confirmation email made the locker pop open. It was all very slick and easy. Also free of the worry you get with Amazon that you're going to end up with a counterfeit.

I've been scaling back my amazon purchases as part of my, "go outside and touch grass" plan.

Even with "reputable" products there are still scams going on.

I've noticed it with a specific vitamin I usually order. Started counting them and in 3 bottles they were short and not by a small number. By about 12%. The bottle was properly sealed too. Never happened with that same brand in a box store.

Here is my theory: These bottles are filled by weight not count. They are filled and then weighed. If they meet the right criteria they are shipped to box stores. All the under filled containers are sold at a discount to places like amazon. This is obviously pure speculation.

All 3 MagSafe products are deeply flawed products that could be remedied with few minor changes:

MageSafe Battery Pack needs to be able to charge itself via USB-C and MagSafe.

MagSafe Charger needs much stronger magnet and anti-slip bottom.

MagSafe Duo Charger needs to to be redesigned to accommodate bigger camera bump, fast charging of Apple Watch, and USB-C connector.

You can also purchase Best Buy with price match for Verizon. I don't buy Amazon for electronics because of counterfit or not new product from the inventory co-mingling., rather price match with Best Buy which is easy to do with on-line Chat.

I just received two knockoff MagSafe chargers from Woot/Amazon for $30 a pop. Grrrrrrrr

Is there a technical reason why Apple can’t create a single charger in approximately the same form factor as the regular Magsafe charger that could charge either an iPhone or an Apple Watch? Perhaps it might need a bit of extra circuitry to query over NFC what sort of device was sitting on top of it (both phone and watch have NFC) and configure itself accordingly. Is there some technical show-stopper that makes that impossible because that is the device I would really like to have in my travel kit and would be willing to pay a Duo-like price or maybe even slightly more (and goodness knows, the Duo is expensive enough already) for the added space saving when I travel.

Alternatively (or also), another charger innovation I would like to see from Apple - or a third party because this one involves no cooperation from Apple - is a Duo mechanism stuck on top of something like a 10,000 mAh battery, all integrated into a single unit obviously, which shouldn’t add much more than 8mm to the overall thickness. Again when travelling being able to have just that in my bag would, with the amazing battery life of my iPhone 14 Pro Max, be all that I would need to take on a long weekend trip. If it was a genuine 10,000 mAh it would probably even last me for a one-week trip - a single full recharge of my phone plus nightly recharges to take my Watch from about 40% back to 100% at the end of each day.

I wish apple would return to the old style battery case. Inductive charging is so inefficient.
Yea I loved Smart Battery Case :(

I remember getting a Mophie that wirelessly charged the iPhone that was total garbage. Only gave the iPhone 30% before it was dead from full.

Good to know!

The other reason I hit up Verizon is that they'd given me some $50 credit for starting Fios, so I ended up with the AirPods Pro 2 for net $150 . They often have various promotional stuff, which is worth checking out if you have wireless/broadband with them.

I bet there is a new MagSafe duo coming out.
