Apple updated the iPad Pro lineup in October 2018 with an all-new design that removed the Home Button, introduced a TrueDepth camera system with Face ID onto the tablet for the first time, and reduced the bezels around the display. These iPads also support the new Apple Pencil 2 as well as the revamped Smart Keyboard accessories.

Crazy, isn’t it? My Air 2 just won’t die and I’m still impressed with its performance. Probably my favorite iPad to date, solidly built and the perfect travel size with the 9.7.
Wish I could say the same about the Air 1. Mine is an expensive paperweight.

Might trade it in ontop of my 10.5 next year for the new one thats announced.

Just love with these new iPads.

Same boat here too. I'm getting the itch for a new device but my Air 2 is still rocking!

Although that’s the best price for 12.9 inch iPads, the 11 inch versions were $300 off a few weeks ago. I almost pulled the trigger but it’s still an expensive replacement for my 9.7 pro that isn’t even lagging. I just can’t justify it. At the end of the day it’s just a nicer iPad which I feel is a little unexciting at this point—more like an appliance.

I got an Oculus Quest instead and it’s a blast.

Thanks for sharing, I'll wait for a +/- $300 discount before pulling the trigger. I think the 11" is the size I want.

Late last year I purchased a used mac mini, I think its a 2010 or 2011, it and my MBP 13" are essentially the same, just different form factors, same year model too. I've just about got the mini set up as a pseudo server for the house. I'm ready to phase out the 13" MBP and if I can screen-share from the mini onto an iPad like I do with my 13" MBP, rumored to be announced as native on Monday, I'm going to pull the trigger on this setup. But, I'm sure it will require the latest version of MacOS which means I may have to upgrade the mini too, which would be aggravating, and will slow progress but something I'll still work towards.

No love for the 256gb iPad! I need a new one...but will wait for a better sale somewhere:).

Interesting Movie Sale... It's identical to Google's current sale... Even the marketing... Isn't price fixing the **** that got Apple in trouble in the past? I believe I got a gift card from that class action. Maybe we should forward these to the FTC?

So if you sue Apple and win the court will make you pay full price for the movies you bought?

Not really.

IMO an 11” (128 GB) LTE Pro should ideally be $699/749 (or Max to max $799/849) pretax.

A Pro device starting with 64GB storage o_O, only Apple :p

With RAM and SSD prices falling or staying the same and the premium being asked for these devices the storage capacity offered should be 128, 256, 512 and 1TB.

64GB is fine on the Mini, Air, etc.

Same should be for XS starting at 128GB and the XR at 64GB.

Best to wait for the 2019/2020 iPad Pro refresh starting at 128GB storage.

It's a push by the entire entertainment industry to get people to see the value in digital movie rentals.

I love how everyone thinks, without justification, Apple should lower their prices.

Has it occurred to anyone that they might be maximising their profit? Nah?

Got my 11" iPad pro yesterday for $674 from Amazon. Ordered on Monday.

The price is now back up to $749 on Amazon.
You got hosed. Next time try Swappa. Much less money. Amd alotvof times someone will be selling the, new in box.

No warranty when you buy from non-approved sellers or used. Not going to do that to save a few bucks.

Plus Amazon has 30 day return with full refund.
I am not sure what you mean. I just bought an Apple watch new in box for half retail on Swappa. Had some issues with it. Had Apple look at it. They never gave me grief. Apple never has never given me grief on any products i buy online from sites like those.

Now they do check to see if the Applecare warranty is still valid. And as long as it is under Applecare. I always get my devices serviced. Even if they were bought on Ebay or Swappa etc. This is why i always check the imei online b4 purchasing anything. Just to avoid any headaches.

Unfortunately that has not been my experience. I bought a couple of Apple devices on EBay that were supposedly new and when I had issues 6 months later Apple said the serial numbers had been previously registered and warranty had expired. So I am not buying from eBay or other non-standard channels.

That sucks. Fortunately Apple makes good products. So I haven’t needed service on many of the products i buy. Even if it was from another site.
