Amazon today is discounting the Powerbeats Pro in Lava Read to $149.95, down from $249.95. This is now the lowest price we've ever tracked for the Beats wireless headphones, but at this time Amazon is only offering the sale in the Lava Red color.

The second best deal on other colors remains at $159.99 in Moss and Spring Yellow, which is the same sale we saw on Black Friday and Cyber Monday. Stock for these headphones is dwindling fast, so be sure to place your order soon if you want a pair in for the holidays.

The Powerbeats Pro are the sports alternative to Apple's AirPods Pro, and offer greater sweat resistance and a more secure over-ear fit. You can find other sales on Beats products today, including the Solo Pro and Solo3 Wireless.

I get so confused with all these Beats products, it’s time for Apple to clean up the headphone line entirely.

They are a garbage product. I went through about three pairs with various issues (charging issues, bluetooth issues and simply no longer working issues). The rep at the store basically said they were junk, he'd had all kinds of returns and suggested that I do a free swap for Air Pod Pros, which I did.

I own a pair, and have had zero issues. They are among the best-selling and highest-rated earphones on Amazon.

Everyone has different experiences. I've owned a pair for more than a year and they've been perfect; the battery life is nearly double the AirPod Pros, same H1 chip, and each earpiece has their own physical controls for volume and play. The earhooks are extremely important to me because AirPods (even Pros) don't fit very securely. For me they are extremely comfortable, to the point where I sometimes forget I'm wearing one. They don't have ANC, but that doesn't matter to me because most of the time I wear just one, as I listen mostly to podcasts and use them for phone calls.

Different uses and experiences for everyone, so it's not accurate to paint them with the the broad brush of "garbage".

I own a pair. I do like them for their feature set, but they have been problematic. $150 is what they should have started at, but branding. At this point, I’ll use my pair until they wear out or become too frustrating to use again. I am also heartened that my cc extended warranty will probably allow me to get my money back at the end, assuming they continue along on the trajectory of user experience they’ve been taking me.

these are great for workout and running. I have two pairs and they last for a long time with single charge. You don't get the pressure within your ear like others (Jabra). $150 is a great deal.

That’s great, but my complaints are similar to others and were common enough the Apple Store rep told me he’d seen so many issues with them that I should just switch to APP.

I think the point here is that you exaggerated your claim by calling them garbage. I get that you had an experience with it that you might call biblical, but most people didn’t have that experience. Thus they are clearly not garbage. Mine have have worked flawlessly.

i got myself cloud pink cause they finally dropped to a comfortable price

own APP but want these to work out in as the APP aren't the most secure in active movement

+1 with the junk comment... actually all the Powerbeats I've owned had issues (PB2 flaked out 6 times and finally Apple Store swapped for Bose, PB3 flaked out and swapped, but rarely used now I have the PB-Pro)

On the Pro I had the right ear swapped... they've always had a pairing issue (I only get both to pair straight out of the case ~33% of the time, 50% after 1 retry of back in case, 17% after 2 retries). Very odd since they have the same chip as AirPods (which have never had an issue, but don't want to use for workouts)

And when I put them in the case ~25% time they won't actually charge and end up dead when I put them on at the gym. I've had to carry my Jabra buds in my gym bag as a back-up for when the PB-Pros don't charge.

Bottom line: As an owner of these could not recommend them even at $100 off... but if you do buy them for the gym bag, keep a backup pair in your bag as well (which if you have to buy cuts into the discount).

I think that Apple wants to maintain the culture and brand of pre-acquisition Beats... overpriced crap for people with more desire to flash/swagger than common sense. /s
