Samsung today began a new winter deals event, offering sales on TVs, tablets, monitors, memory, audio accessories, and more. The "Discover Samsung" event is set to run through December 15 and introduce new deals of the day every day of the sale.

Below we've collected a few of the highlights of the sale, particularly focusing on major discounts on Samsung TVs and monitors. The new sale continues Samsung's discount on the 32-inch Smart Monitor M8, available for $399.99 in select colors, down from $729.99, an all-time low price on the iMac-like monitor.

The curved Ark monitor looks fun, but I think in time it would get old with that extreme overhead curve.

You can use it horizontally like a normal monitor.

and reviews say it is STILL awkward to use horizontal :) and the ability to go vertical adds a LOT of weight so its just not that convenient to move, even horizontal. so yeah. still think it looks like fun but would get old.

Just don’t install anything on them….

they haven’t fixed it in years…completely negligent

Have had 3 Samsung TVs and they’ve been outstanding. Will buy another when the time comes. Wish I needed one now, these are good deals.
They are indeed great TVs... except...

They are incredibly chatty on the network and will download ads 24 hours a day, whether they are on or off. It is something to behold, actually (the amount of network traffic they generate). My Samsung TV gets to access my Wi-Fi only when I need to update it. Otherwise, it is sitting in the corner off the network and I use Apple TV device to stream stuff on it.

BTW if you do use Apple TV device to stream to a Samsung TV, do use the built-in Apple TV color calibration (it will require your iPhone too) as the TV is not really very color precise by default.

I remember when Samsung introduced their first 85" 4K OLED, the UN-85S9, at CES 2013. It weighed 189 lbs, and cost $40,000. Now, remarkably, they're going for only $2,200 -- barely more than the price of an Apple polishing cloth.

My Samsung Q95B QD-OLED 65 inch TV was warped out the box along the top and the side. The screen is so thin it has minimal structural rigidity. You can easily flex it my placing a ruler along the back. At first you can see light under it showing the warp and then by applying minimal pressure to the ruler the visible light disappears as the screen casing straightens out. Im amazed how the TV is so well reviewed considering the shoddy build quality and materials used. Needless to say it's being returned and I've ordered a replacement Sony. I shall never complaint about the Apple premium over Samsung again after my experience with Samsungs cutting edge (apparently) TV. Long live Apple's beautiful metal and glass designs. Leave the brittle plastic to Samsung and let them discount it.

I got my 65” S95B for $1399. It’s a great tv. Is it thin? Yes, but so is my B2. Just be careful lifting it off its front when installing the stand, put your hands more in the middle. I think most people say it was bent out of the box, to not get mad at themselves for improper lifting.

Back in the late '90s I paid over $300 for a 6GB HDD. The guy I worked with that was teaching me how to build PC's told me that was overkill
Back in the early 90’s we paid $600 for a 2MB RAM upgrade for our Macintosh LC (a machine that, with the matching monitor, cost $3,000 at the time and was considered a bargain). It amazes me how cheap things are by comparison, not even when adjusting for inflation.
