Apple's entire current AirPods lineup is seeing notable low prices on Amazon, with up to $99 off the AirPods Max, AirPods 2, AirPods 3, and AirPods Pro.

AirPods 2

Amazon has the AirPods 2 at $99.00, down from $129.00. This deal has been somewhat rare in 2022, and in total it's only about $10 higher than the all-time low price seen on this version of the AirPods.

This is the model of AirPods that comes with the Wired Charging Case. Apple discontinued the AirPods 2 with the Wireless Charging Case so we haven't seen any notable deals on that accessory in months, and recommend looking at deals on the AirPods 3 if you're looking for a model with a Qi-compatible case.

AirPods 3

AirPods 3 have dropped to $149.99 on Amazon, down from $179.00. Shipping has somewhat dwindled on the AirPods over the last few days, but you can still get the headphones this month; Amazon is now estimating a delivery date of April 18-28.

Similar to the AirPods 2 deal, this sale on the AirPods 3 is around $10 off from the record low Amazon price on this model. Overall, it's one of the best deals that we've tracked in 2022, and it's sold directly by Amazon.

The AirPods 3 were introduced in October 2021 and feature a more compact stem similar to the AirPods Pro, and a redesigned contoured fit. There's a force sensor built into the stem for physical control over media and Siri, and they come with a MagSafe Charging Case.

AirPods Pro with MagSafe

Apple's AirPods Pro with MagSafe Charging Case is on sale for $174.99, down from $249.00. This price is a match of the 2022 low price on the AirPods Pro, and overall it's the second-best price we've ever tracked.

The headphones are seeing a slight shipping delay, with a delivery possible by April 24. The new AirPods Pro launched in 2021, and are essentially the same as the 2019 model with the addition of the new MagSafe Charging Case.

AirPods Max

Lastly, the AirPods Max have returned to $449.99 in several colors, down from $549.00. This isn't quite an all-time low, but at $99 off it's one of the more consistent deals we've seen on the high-end AirPods Max in 2022.

Note: You won't see the deal price until checkout.

You won't see this discount price until you reach the checkout screen and an automatic coupon worth $29.01 is applied. Colors available at this price include Space Gray, Sky Blue, and Silver.

We track sales for every model of the AirPods in our Best AirPods Deals guide, so be sure to bookmark that page while you shop around for the wireless headphones.

I wonder if Apple has a bit of a problem with updating AirPods? Rumors are that the AirPods 3 are not selling well partly due to the high price tag. Personally, I’m perfectly happy with my 1st generation AirPods and have no need to upgrade until the batteries die on them. I’m think many other people are in the same boat as myself. This may be a product that Apple should not update very often and try and keep them at a fairly low price point.

Well I guess if you don't need new ones there is no reason to buy them. I'm still perfectly happy with my AP2s. Favorite piece of tech I own. Plus people are animals of habit. If I really needed a replacement .... good chances I'd go with the 2s instead of the new ones just because I'm used to them.

I upgraded to the 3rd gen because the 2nd gen had poor battery life.

Gen 2 airpods > gen 3

Based on fit and microphone reliability. People couldn't hear me half the time! So annoying.

Sincerely, my personal opinion.
That's why I haven't upgraded, I have the 2nd gen (and Pro's which I got for a discount with the back to school program last year with a new Mac purchase) but prefer using the 2nd gen as they fit better and wanted to get the 3rd get for longer battery life and spatial audio but not willing to risk them not fitting as good

What is the difference between the AP2 and AP3, really? It seems like the big difference is spatial audio which no one seems to care about. As someone else mentioned the AP3 are supposed to have better battery life, but I think most casual users use their AirPods less than an hour a day on average. Yeah, I’d like more battery life, but I generally have to charge my first generation AirPods maybe only once a week. I imagine most normal users are in the same boat.

Personally, I'd really like the AirPods Max to hit that $250-$300 price range as thats where I think they belong. Realistically, because I know the "Apple Tax" is very much a real thing that sits outside of universal logic, I'd be tempted to purchase them around $350-$375. Getting closer as the months go by.

I'd be interested in them in that price range too. I also think the storage/charging case needs to be redesigned

It’s $189 at Costco same day delivery by Instacart at sameday.costco.com with promo code EASTER22 for $50 off which comes out to $139. Opt in for 60 days of free Instacart Express and get an additional $8 off. Add a boost to your Cash app card to get $30 back.

Cool. I love my first gen AirPods, but battery life has finally declined to the point where it's a problem. I'll use this deal to upgrade to second generation.

Other than the AirPods Max (which should be $399.99), all these prices are what the "normal prices" should be.

lol

Haven’t tested spatial audio, but I like how things work now…. So no idea what I am missing. As for battery….. completely other user type - I manage to drain them dry twice a days. Don’t think the 3s would help with that a lot ?.

100%, once the AirPods Max hits the "normal price range" as its competitors, it will be something to consider in the future tbh. I get that the "build quality" is significantly better than its competitors, but its durability in real life is not near as comfortable (the case and not being able to turn it off is still meh...).

Grabbed a pair of AP3 for USD 167, pretty fair deal to me. Jumped from my first AirPods and you can definitely tell how much the AirPods have improved. Streaming everything with Spatial Audio is definitely a new standard, I don´t get how people overlook it.
