A big sale on nearly every model of the 2018 iPad Pro and 2019 iPad has opened up on Amazon today, providing up to $199 off these tablets. Both models are seeing lowest-ever prices in the sale, including new lows on both Wi-Fi and cellular options. Best Buy is matching the price of these iPads in a few instances as well.

I really wish Apple would do a laminated display on the 10.2 that’s the only thing holding me back from upgrading from my Air 2

$249 for iPad 10.2 WiFi is not “lowest ever.” It was selling for $199 over the Black Friday / Cyber Monday week.

I would love the mini 5, but can't justify it since I have a 2-year-old mini 4. The pencil support would only be a novelty, and there's just not enough of a difference between the two.

In the market for a new Ipad.
Stuck in between the Ipad Air 3 at $459 and the Pro 11 inch at $674.99...
The specs on the Air are fine for me (I'm not a Pro power user or whatever) but I mostly want the improved speaker setup from the Pro. I would mostly be using it for watching movies, notetaking at work/conferences, Garageband, and Procreate. Casual amateur music-making and sketching/drawing.
At the current prices, is the pro worth the extra $215. Any opinions?>?

You could look into getting a refurb 10.5 in iPad Pro, not the latest processor but still plenty fast and you get the speaker setup you want and pro motion display.

Just based on the few things you mentioned, I'd say no imo. As for the improved speakers on the pro, I'd rather take the extra $215 and get some nice AirPlay capable speakers. I'm not privy to your entire use case, but what seems to be primarily a recreational iPad and some good speakers would fit you better than an iPad Pro alone imo.

I think you're probably right. The speaker idea is good, and I probably won't use the Pro to anywhere near its full capacity.

Sounds like a last gen iPad Pro 10.5 inch would be perfect for you. It has more RAM than the Air, 4 speaker array, the ProMotion display, and the A10X processor is more or less on par with the A12 in the Air. At this point they cost about the same or a little less if you can find one.

There are certified refurbed Ipad Pro 10.5 available from Apple right now going for $469. You've given me something to think about.

Can't wait for New iPads in March!

To be totally disappointed they still have no justification for the $150 price increase the pro models received..
Give us OLED already...

What I want to know is how MacRumors got approval to post Amazon prices...
Most blogs I know with affiliate posts can’t included prices. 🤷‍♂️
