Deals retailer Woot today has notable low prices on refurbished models of the Apple Watch Series 1 and Series 2, as well as the 4th generation iPad mini. There were Series 3 and Series 4 Apple Watch models on sale, but as of writing they have sold out.

You can get the Apple Watch Series 1 for as low as $109.99 in 38mm and $114.99 in 42mm. There are multiple band and case color options as well. All of the Apple Watches are on sale for today only, or until stock runs out.

For the Series 2 models, 38mm starts at $144.99 and 42mm starts at $149.99. These Apple Watches all have Sport Bands and aluminum cases, and are expected to have a moderate level of wear and tear, but they have been tested to be in full working condition.

Lastly, Woot has the 16GB iPad mini 4 in Wi-Fi only for $189.99. You can also increase the storage to 64GB for $209.99, and 128GB for $229.99. Just like the Apple Watch, the iPad mini 4 has been refurbished and is tested to be in proper working order.

I feel like Series 1 and 2 will stutter and splutter a little these days - a good condition Series 3 may cost double but will surely be a wiser choice?

My Series 1 is still doing pretty well, I'm surprised it's lasted so long. Having said that, these things have to be getting close to end of life soon. Even for $110, I don't know if it's worth buying such an old device at this point.
Still have my series 1 (I actually upgraded from a series 0) - still does everything I want but agreed a used series 1 is close to $50.

Just a friendly tip from someone who has owned multiple Apple watches (since 4/24/15 launch): unless you want to just tell the time or use very lightweight apps, don't get anything under a Series 4. Anything before that lags horribly and your ability to use future watchOS versions is pretty much done.

I use mines for time and notifications. The heart rate is a good feature as well but i do not do nothing else on my watch. I am still in need of watch faces so I may consider a series 6 for the new face.

I used a series 3 on the current OS for months before getting a series 5, and the series 3 was totally fine. Not quite as smooth as the 4/5, but definitely didn’t “lag horribly.”

Tried to sell a series 1 last year in great condition for $50. No bites for months. Had a hard time giving it away but eventually someone took it.

A Series one Apple Watch is a ‘bad buy’ right now. I would not do it, considering we’re moving on to watch OS7 within five months. I mean, if you want a Series 1 for basic tasks, such as heart rate/communication, it’s capable, but I question its sustainability once watchOS 7 arrives in terms of performance/battery efficiency.

I use my apple watch series 1 purely as a fitness tracker and to tell the time. For these tasks it serves me well (too laggy for anything else), and i only Sync up to my iphone like 3-4 times a week, so the battery is still pretty good after 3 years. My little nephew and niece love the butterfly face animations though!

Huh, my stainless S3 works perfectly fine. I'd love an excuse to buy a newer model but have no reason to.
