Woot has a few deals on refurbished Apple products today, including the previous-generation iPhone SE and the 11-inch iPad Pro from 2018. As with all Woot products, these devices are expected to include a moderate level of wear and tear, but are tested to be in full working condition.

To start, you can get the 16GB iPhone SE for $89.99, the 32GB model for $99.99, and the 64GB model for $109.99. Woot is also including a screen protector and iPhone case with the iPhone SE, and you'll also earn a 90 Day Woot Limited Warranty upon purchase of the smartphone.

For the iPad Pro, Woot has the 64GB Wi-Fi model priced at $649.99, down from $799.00. Other models on sale include the 256GB Wi-Fi iPad Pro at $749.99; the 512GB model at $829.99; and the 1TB model at $949.99. Like the iPhone SE, the iPad Pro comes with a 90 Day Woot Warranty, and you'll get free shipping if you're an Amazon Prime member.

Even with the discount, I guess I’d choose the 2020 model because of the 6GB of RAM and 128GB of base storage, if I had to buy an iPad Pro today.

Without question, a $150 discount isn't worth it for a used, 64 gb Pro with less ram.

It didn't take long for the 64 gb model to sell out....

I was JUST thinking "huh, I should buy me one now so that when my original beloved SE has an 'accident', I can just switch over to a fresh one and save cash." So that 64 GB one selling out is proof enough to prove my thinking... Wow. Take note, Apple, take note. We are a small, but vocal, minority and we are speaking.

What sort of condition do these Woot refurb Apple products tend to be? As good as refurbs from Apple's store, or something less than that? A $150 savings for a used, older, lower-spec'd model doesn't look like much of a deal, and if the condition and battery are less than perfect, it's not very appealing at all. And if you "qualify" for Apple's student discount, that brand-new 2020 model w/128GB is only $749.

I think that it's going to be very confusing to many people that Apple decided to call their latest phone the iPhone SE instead of SE+ or SE2.

Do people have that problem when buying an iPad or Mac?

Apple doesn't name their computers iMac 7, iMac 8, or MacBook Air 2, MacBook Air 3

Apple stopped naming their iPads by number/version years ago.

People will be fine. There's an obvious difference between iPhone SE (2016) and iPhone SE (2020) just by looking at it.

I ordered a “refurbished” iPhone 6S from one of these Woot promotions MacRumors offered a couple months ago, and the phone has a couple of dents and scratches. One of the two screws at the bottom of the phone (by the Lightning port) was missing, and the battery capacity was 72%, despite the promised 85% minimum capacity.

Silver lining was that it was $90, and Apple is giving me $60 to trade it in for an SE2, so $30 for the amount I used it in two months (I really needed to upgrade my work phone from a flip phone, especially now that I’m working from home and communicating more via text) was kind of worth it.

Nevertheless, I’m never ordering from Woot again, and I really wish MacRumors would stop advertising these.

Got the 256GB 11 pro 2018 from Best Buy a few weeks back for $629 price matched to Micro Center

Only need to get burn once to know these are rubbish and sworn away from Woot.

Just ordered a 12.9 2018 refurb iPad Pro from Apple’s refurbished site the day before for $50 more than what Woot is charging for their 11 in, and it comes with new battery, outershell, 1 yet Apple limited warranty and choice to get Apple Care.
It’ll complement my other 12.9 nicely.

I was waiting for Woot to sell the Apple Refurbished (with the warranty and not the without disclaimer) For less like they did the 10.5 but that never happened.

I've bought several refurbs from Apple, so I'm definitely a fan of that (though I often think the discounts could be better), but is it a confirmed fact that Apple's refurbs always have brand-new batteries?

I’m a fan of Refurbs from Apple, too, though I generally find some Apple Refurbs from resellers for less, such as my mentions of the Apple Refurb 10.5 iPP from Woot for less than Apple’s refurb site and an iMac Pro I’ve been eyeing from OWC (previously) and ipowerresale for an extra $750 off on top of the $750 Apple has discounted.

From Apple directly, this would be my 2nd Apple refurb (1st being a series 1 Apple Watch back when they were relevant). I confirmed that the battery on the 10.5 was brand new with no cycle counts.
My 12.9 delivery date was changed from Friday to tomorrow, so I’ll see if I can check that too.

In fact, I just checked Apple's refurb store and it states that all refurb iPads include the following:
- The same 1-year warranty as a brand new iPad
- All manuals and accessories
- A new battery and outer shell
- A new white box
