Can i bring my 8+ purchased on Sept 22 and exchange for a X ????


i understand is over 14 days receipt but people love iphone apple should break policy and allow :D

box and cable still in same quality

You are kidding right? If it’s over the 14 say policy then no. Also you couldn’t do a straight swap as the iPhone X costs more so you would have to pay the difference. But did there really need to be a thread created for this.

I have done exchanges over 14 day return policy before. We bought 2 jet black 7 pluses in February. When the red ones were released 6 weeks later, we talked to manager at Apple store and we’re able to exchange the phones. No boxes, just phones because we were on vacation and happened to walk into that particular Apple store.
 
I think you know the answer to this. Why would you buy an 8 knowing full well you and your wife wanted an X?

Legitimately, what makes you think Apple would make an exception for you and your situation? Or are you simply looking for advice for others to tell you how to go about the return?
 
my wife already mention she will take my X on next friday use it and give me her 8+ .....

i beleave she want to show off in her work zone :D

if she like then no chance to take back

The answer will be no.

Sell the 8 and take the hit now when it will be the lowest if that is what you really want to do. Otherwise, hang on and wait until the next release.
 
Answer is likely no... but I think the best plan is to call apple and ask or go to an apple store and ask. Their policy is a no... so asking here isn't likely to yield the answer you want.
 
i wish we could return the op to the apple store.

for real though, no. of course you cant exchange a 5 week old phone.
