I'm considering purchase of LG 27UP850 as a 4K display for my future Mini M1 (or M2 maybe). However I'd use it together with my PC without usb-c or thunderbolt and here comes question to 27UP850 users. Is usb hub still active when you switch input from usb-c to let's say DP input? I'd like to connect usb camera and keyboard to usb-a ports in monitor and use it with either Mac or PC via external usb-c KVM. If internal hub would be still working after switching input to DP - that would be enough to achieve it 
Too bad LG doesn't have more affordable displays with two usb-c inputs like in their utrafine series...
