Would this be a horrible monitor for pictures, and how acurate would the colors be.

looks like its a tn panel which is bad for color accuracy.

Decent for the price, fine for viewing pictures and editing them, but if you're in need of color accuracy for print work, this is not the monitor you're looking for.
