I'm looking for some good quality speakers for my iMac for listening to music. Budget up to £200.

For over a decade, I have been using harman kardon soundsticks, I think it is the 2nd gen.

They have great highs and lows, maybe mids could use an improvement, but I think they are pretty decent speakers and look nice on a desk.

They probably wouldn't decent for an audiophile, but for the price, I like them.

I might say hang on see what the new home pod mini sound like in a stereo pair ? if it can work like that ?

Audioengine A4s are great for $240. Got them for my iMac a few months ago and love them. Check out their website for details.

If you need to consider anything listen/watch Digital Stereophony on YouTube. A lot of the example that are mention online here (LogiTech, Edifier, Klipsch, Audioengine, ILoud, etc.) he has comparisons of a lot of the desktop speakers along with studio monitors. I had a older Klipsch iFi that finally died and the search for a good replacement has been not so easy but that might help you. You want to hear how Harmon Kardon Soundsticks compared to something else its there to listen to.
