Ok, I've decided to buy a template from templatemonster for my new gaming site...

My next question is...how do I go about putting the template into a Content Management System?

The problem I've noticed with most open source CMS programs is that they all have built in templates or "themes" and don't include instructions on how to import your own and then program it to work with the new template.

Does anyone know of a good CMS that allows you to do this? (My biggest concern is that it's easy to do...I don't know much about the technology that goes on within the backends of these programs. I want to concentrate on writing my content. Not programming the site.)

I'll be using this template: (with some adjustments and expansions for my own needs...and probably not with the Flash.)

Note that it includes multiple pages...so I'll need a CMS that lets me use more than one template for multiple pages.

Any advice?

From what I've seen, many CMSs do let you incorporate their CMS into other templates, but it does require a substantial amount of extra work.

Check out this site for a great number of CMSs that you can try out without having to bother installing them yourself...

OpenSourceCMS

What you will have to do, if no instructions are given, is to delve into the CMSs own templates and see what codes and variables they use to input the content from the database into their templates, then incorporate that code into yours. It's a daunting task. Good luck!
