i currently have this bag but in a pintripe brown....

i purchased it to see how it fit my laptop ... i like it but seems a little hard to get the MBP in and out every once in a while as its sized almost perfect for the MBP which means you have to play with it to get it in and out... but seems well protected... i have another OGIO bag that i love but is just a regular backpack not for a laptop... (this is the reason i bought this one) so i know the quality is good.. but im having my doubts on the looks and fit of the bag. im thinking of returing it and purchasing the....

now i dont have any history about the bag... never seen it... so wanted to know what you guys think would be the best decision for my MBP...

what are your experiences with both of these bags??

how is the fit on the synergy? and how big is it really? enough slots for everything you need?

anyways thanks for your time... and sorry for another MBP Backpack thread

p.s. where is the cheapest place to get the SYNERGY... i got the OGIO "METRO" for $69.99 plus tax.

I think the whole brown Ogio looked better than the one in black, I think the piece at the bottom and all the exterior "flaps" makes it look rather bulky.

I've been watching for a back pack and have checked varius Wenger ones and I think I will get one of those.

I've got the impression that people are happy with their wenger backpacks, they have a limited lifetime warranty I think and they are made in a good country, also they seem to have a lot of places for things and be quite large so I think they are nice. I also like the back padding.

Only bad thing I've read about them is that they are TO large and have TO many places for things, and also that the horisontal strap is to high up.

Anyway I think the synergy looks like a nicer bag, so if you can switch do it.

well i just found the OGIO "Metro" on www.circuitcity.com for $34.99 (i purchased it for in store pick up) and in black (a more preferable color for me) so i did that.... wow i really was getting my heart set on that Synergy... much more confusing now... anyone know where i could get a good deal on the Synergy? i seen it for like 63 bucks on amazon with free supersaver shipping... would that be the cheapest? any other recomended sites?

now i need to return the brown one to where i purchased that... hey atleast i saved 35 bucks by making this thread if i decided to keep the black Ogio...

now to decide if i want the black ogio or black synergy  lol

thanks for your help guys...

btw that 34.99 ended up being $38 after taxes so good deal for anyone that is interested in a quality bag for under $40 ... Ogio makes quality bags from experience (i have another ogio bag)... and it would fit the MacBook perfect and MacBookPro fits aswell but got to angle it to get it in sometimes...but once its in it fits like a charm... its just a little weired putting in your laptop from the side of the bag rather than from the top.

here is the link to the Circuit City Page...

i also found this site here... (which i used to find the black OGIO) . that links you to good deals on bags... (Synergy was sold out TOO GOOD of a deal w/free wireless mouse)

I think 68 dollar already is cheap, I doubt it's close to that here at the other side of the sea.. Even thought we are closer to switzerland or however it's spelled =P

i've got a swissgear maxxum and it's okay, but one of the zippers is already messed up, and it's just too dang bulky. gonna go check out circuit city, i like the look of the metro, might grab one for that price.

isn't there a long backpack thread somewhere? I cannot find it? I want a small pack that can carry (1) school book about 2.5" think, (1) 1" notebook and my 15" MBP. I don't need to be able to carry a whole bunch of gear.
