Decisions of buying now or waiting.... help?

So I am looking to get an iMac.

Now I am looking to use my iMac for steam, xbox, and for my computer obviously. I need high specs for my GoPro video editing.

Now on that note, I can't decide if I should buy the iMac that is out right now.. or if I should wait for the upcoming model. From what I figure the next model will be out in half of a year.

Does anyone have any info I should take into consideration.. or any advice?

Either you need a Mac now or you don't. That about sums it up.

The current iMac is VERY capable at doing any work you can throw at it. If you need a new machine now, then you should get one.
Might be worth waiting till WWDC announcements in case the new Mac Pro is revolutionary.
