Deck options for 720p and 1080i

Hi,

Looking at making the jump to some HD formats and wondering what kind of options there are for decks.

I've been using the Sony DSR-1500a for quite a while and am comfortable with this level of sophistication and options. Is there a HD equivalent?

That depends on what kind of format you will get your HD footage on. There are HDV, DVCPro HD and many flash based media of H264 encoded video.

We just started looking at the AJA Ki Pro to use with our SD studio cameras.

We are trying to weigh our options if we decide to upgrade all of our editing stations etc.

I don't really know, you have to provide more information for us to help.

What kind of production company are you and what do you produce with what kind of hardware and who is the final recipient and what is the medium that is used for delivering it?

What is your budget for what?

Have you looked at any of the broadcast related fora?

Have you taken a look here?
