I don't know if this was already reported, but today when accessing gmail on my iTouch, it immediately directed me to the mobile version of the page which greatly improves the navigation, load time and general ease of use. Its not quite as well implemented as other sites (facebook for example) but it's a step forward.

I think this is quite new as when I last accessed it on my iTouch (saturday or sunday) it was not so.

Ironically, Apple has not even done this with their .mac service.... and it's their own product!

Come on Apple! You should be doing better than that!
 
No idea what the OP is talking about. Went to the site right now and there it is, regular gmail.
