dedicated NAS vs AirDisk

i'd like to get any experiences with either product. i was very pleased about AirDisk as a new feature of AEBS, but i still see many posts by people looking for advice on NAS products....

how does Airdisk compare..? not so good, i'm guessing. why? and could this be overcome in a future firmware / revision..?

would really like to use AirDisk for iTunes / Apple TV streaming and Time Machine when it arrives. Am i dreaming..?
