Was puzzled over the fact that I had only 60 gb left on my 256gb MacBook Pro. So I went on a deep cleaning spree. Back to 113 available. Crazy how much junk builds up on the drive. There were also about 20 files called Frame (some number)-(some number). It said they were textedit documents. So weird. Anyone know what that would be about?

I think all anyone could do is guess at what the "Frame" files would actually be. Generally, we'd need to see the data in the actual file to figure out what it is. If they've been deleted, then that won't be possible, unless they were in a backup you'd made before the cleanup

It's likely they were "TextEdit documents" only in the sense of which app would run if they were opened. That's mainly because TextEdit is the "app of last resort" when an otherwise unknown file is opened. Sometimes the Finder will do this, and other times the Finder balks and asks you to pick an app to open the file with.
