Yeah. I'd better avoid putting it in an old paint can and dumping it in the Columbia River.

Kinda like a crash dummy test that morphs into a water test. Picture driving your car off of a dock into the water. Brilliant.
Yeah it is abit useless to see how it is working now... but does it work after week or so. If there is moisture inside, it will affect sooner or later (corrosion).

A more real world test would be pool depths, which both survive in
This is the first year i didn't get applecare+ actually. Being that I update every year (only $100 for the storage/model I upgrade to) I have still usually been one to buy ac+ simply for the piece of mind that if there is a catastrophic accident that happened within that year I wouldn't have to pay that crazy non-covered repair or having to buy a new one. After watching the matte black scratch video matched with this video I actually decided not to get insurance on this phone, this year. Just got to keep the screen clean and I will get a nice "free" iPhone 8 next year. The only thing I see breaking this phone is a freak accident or dropping it face down on a rock or something, for everything else apple covers the first year and they trade up anyway.
I'm the opposite. I actually DID get AppleCare + this year, because the dropped the price for screen repairs (I know they upped the price for everything else). It will be nice to know I can be a little more careless with my phone. I'm the type of person to guard my phone so much it's hard to tell it's been used at all.
I did the same for the same reason. I have never gotten apple care for any iPhone but thought that was a sweet deal for screen repairs.
I stopped him when he said $129, how much are screen repairs under the plan that makes it worth it?
29..... the screen is the only thing on the phone that could break! I see why they up'd the price, cause that is all that they will recover revenue from. I still dunno, 129 dollars and I keep it in an apple case and am really carful with it. I know murphy's law and all but man hard to balance the benefit/cost
You should be good then. I keep all my iPhones naked every time so I'm happy with this price.
I was going to go naked and get AC+ but after playing with the matte black for a while after i got it, it was just to slick for my hands so I got a case. Anyway, I love my 7 and can't wait for the 8!
