My 3 computers, 2 Mac Studio's and one MacBook Pro (silicon) all have problems with DeepL.
Sometimes the application hangs and I have to force quit. And everytime I shut down the Mac there appears a window that DeepL has prevented this and I have to to try again. In most cases the Mac shuts down then. Is there anyone who has similar experiences?
TIA.

Note: a friend of mine doesn't have this problem on Sonoma on an intel Mac.

What version are you using?
After installing https://appdownload.deepl.com/macos/DeepL.dmg it says an important update is available.

I have this exact same issue. Every time I shut down, it pops up to say that DeepL interrupted shutdown. As soon as I click on Try Again, shutdown proceeds normally. But it's still annoying, and I've started shutdown a couple times now, then walked away only to find my Mac still on the next morning. I have a Mac Studio running Sequoia with Apple silicon, and both my OS and DeepL are fully up to date.

Deepl freezes while not in use, that is the cause of the problem. In my case, for example, I find it frozen behind other applications and have to perform a forced quit. I have reported this to support but the last two updates have not solved the problem (at least it doesn't freeze like before... but it keeps freezing).
