Default app permission?

Hey, could somebody tell me the default app permissions?

I think it should be so, that I (main user) has read and write privileges and statt + everyone read only privileges.

so I tried sudo chmod a+rwx,g-wx,o-wx

The result is, that the system has read and writes and everyone else + wheels read only.

On Mac I just do it the folder itself be highlighting the file/folder you want to change and do Get Info (command button+i) and changed it's permissions!
