Hi,
My company manages a small education institutions IT infrastructure. They've got a Windows 2008 server, which printers are shared from. The student printer on this server is set so black and white is the only option, and this printer is shared to students through group policy, so they can only print in black and white. The option to change to colour is greyed out. This all works fine on the Windows computers.
The problem is, they have a pool of Mac computers also. I've had trouble doing the following:
a) Make Black and White the default output colour
b) Make Black and White the only option. Users don't have the option to change the colour from B&W to colour.
Is this at all possible? the manager is always nagging us that students are able to print in colour.
The driver in use is 'FX Print Driver for Mac OS X v1.3'.
Any help appreciated. thanks!
