iOS Default Can I add a button the contacts list?

Hello,

I'm a new Objective-C developer and I have another question for you guys ( this my 2nd thread here ).

Is it possible to add a button (will do a specific function) to the contacts list?

If that's not possible, can I retrieve the contacts and list them in an application that I wrote?
