default font in leopard 10.5 changed overnight (literally)

Hi,
I am running 10.5.4 leopard on my macbook pro. last night i closed the put down the screen before going to bed. when i woke up and opened the beast back up again, the defualt font has changed. all my window titles, and search field fonts have changed to a serif type face which looks a bit like adobe pro font. the only programs open were quicktime, and illustrator. any ideas how to revert back to good old lucida grand?
