What application does OS X use to open .wav and .mid files by default? Sometimes on my machine it opens in iTunes, and for some other users on my machine it opens in Quick Time.

What is the default app to play .mid and .wav?

.Wav could be either iTunes or Quicktime

.Mid should be Quicktime.

I generally set all my audio extentions to open with Quicktime, that way if I accidentaly double click one, it doesn't get added to iTunes.
