Does anyone happen to know the layout or have a screenshot of the default layout of iOS 8 on the iPad? I'm specifically interested in the arrangement of iBooks, Tips, and Podcasts. I have too many apps to do a home screen reset. Thanks!

Here is iOS 8 Beta 5 on an iPad Air. It's just one page with the stock layout.

Are the iBooks and Tips icons really that far off-center?

Also, screens of the Tips app?

What do you mean far off-center? They are on the normal grid.... just tacked onto the end of what they already have.

I think he/she means that it's odd that there are apps to the right of the settings app. Hopefully Apple will change this in the final release.

Maybe I should've been clearer...

To me, it looks like the 'book' and 'lightbulb' of the respective icons are off-center with the icon grid. Is that just my imagination?

the book and the lightbulb look centered to me. definitely not 'that' far off anyway

I meant this, too. Why isn't there a "Extras" folder like on iPhone?

I don't think an "Extras" folder is needed as all the stock apps fit on one screen unlike on the iPhone.
