I've been having this issue for awhile using the Google Maps app on my iPhone and cannot figure out how to fix it.

Problem : When I open the Google Maps App on my iPhone it always defaults to Tulsa, Ok. I have no idea why and have never been there.

I have a home and work address saved and I'd like to see Baltimore when I open the App so I can check the terrible traffic I have to deal with everyday.

I've tried deleting history, signing out and back into the App, deleting the App and re-installing etc etc.

Anyone have any idea how to set the App to default to Baltimore when I open it?

Thanks.

There's definitely no setting in the app, but perhaps there is on the Google Maps website which may also affect the app.

Mike,

I've been having the same problem for about a month. I'm in Michigan; never been to Tulsa. Never searched there on google maps.

I'm thinking if you set privacy\location to ON, this should go away. I'm under the impression that sucks battery juice so I don't do that.
