Default Messaging App Problems

Anyone else having issues with the stock Messaging App since updating to iOS 8? I am having helluva issues with it crashing, lagging and failing to send pics. I first had it with my 5S, and figured it was just the phone but now I am experiencing with my 6 as well.

I frequently have to close the app in order to get it to respond.

Messaging App is completely broken in iOS 8.

Go back to iOS 7 if you need it.

Maybe a (custom) keyboard problem? Don't have issue with the messaging app here, but have seen a couple of frozen apps when I switched to a custom keyboard.

I do have a custom keyboard I just installed yesterday. I will try removing it but I was still experiencing these same issues prior (maybe not as bad)....

Ton of issues. All related to group messaging though.

I was on the phone with Apple for half the day (as this is corporate related) and most of the issues stem from renaming groups. iMessage server issues earlier. Mavericks incompatibility with iOS 8 and renaming groups.

Its a mess but seems to be fairly sorted out right now for the time being.

My suggestion would be try turning iMessage off and then back on. Reseting devices and even Reset all settings. See if that helps.
