for whatever reason, now when i quick look a file, the zoom is too far away. everything is unusably small. it's either that or full screen...so it's not very useful anymore. i'm not sure what i changed...i updated iwork? other than that...i haven't really done any changes to my comp. i just want it back to normal.

Go here
HD/Users/YourUserName/Library/Preferences/
and move this file
com.apple.QuickLookDaemon.plist
to your Desktop.
Then try QuickLook. If no change, Restart.
One of those two actions should create a new plist file set to defaults.
This is strictly trial and error. It might not fix it, but it won't hurt anything.

when i took out the file, it still didn't work. but i'm guessing the restart regenerated the file. now all good!
